The trustees of Somalia Natural Gums Charity formed a commercial company, Enterprises of SNG Limited and
registered it in the UK in 2018. Its remit is to sell Frankincense and Myrrh for a profit and share most of the
money with the Charity in support of its humanitarian aims.
The farming communities that harvest the resins are poor and lack the very basic ingredients to ensure a
reasonable way of life.
